1. Assumption of Risk

By entering The Woods and participating in any event activity, including but not limited to pickleball, beach volleyball, skating, dancing, or other recreational and social activities, I acknowledge and agree that I am voluntarily participating at my own risk.

I understand that these activities involve potential risks, including slips, falls, collisions, dehydration, sun exposure, property damage, and other injuries that can occur in both athletic and entertainment environments. I freely and knowingly assume all risks, known and unknown, even those arising from the negligence of The Woods, its owners, staff, contractors, vendors, or affiliates.

2. Alcohol and Conduct

I acknowledge that alcohol will be available at this event. I agree that I will consume alcohol responsibly and comply with all applicable laws regarding age and conduct.

I accept full responsibility for my behavior, safety, and any injury or property damage that results from alcohol consumption. The Woods reserves the right to refuse service or remove any individual from the premises at its discretion for unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful behavior.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration for being allowed to attend and participate in the Woodser event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The Woods LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, vendors, contractors, sponsors, or volunteers (collectively, “The Woods”) from any and all claims, damages, losses, injuries, or causes of action, whether to person or property, arising out of or related to my participation in this event or presence on the premises.

This includes, but is not limited to, injuries, accidents, illnesses, theft, property loss, or damages caused by the acts or omissions (including negligence) of The Woods or any other participant.

4. Property Damage

I agree to be personally responsible for any damage I cause to The Woods’ property, equipment, or facilities, whether intentional or accidental, and I consent to being charged for repair or replacement costs if such damage occurs.

5. Medical Treatment

I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the event. I release The Woods and all personnel from any claim arising out of such treatment.

6. Photo & Media Release

I understand that The Woods and its affiliates may capture photographs, videos, or recordings of the event for promotional or documentation purposes. By attending, I grant The Woods full, unrestricted rights to use my image, likeness, or voice in any promotional material without compensation.

7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Woods, its owners, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation, attendance, or violation of this agreement.

8. Acknowledgment of Rules

I agree to comply with all posted rules, instructions, and directions from The Woods staff and security. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

9. Binding Effect

This agreement shall be binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. If any portion is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

10. Acknowledgment and Signature

I have read and understood this waiver and agree to all terms voluntarily. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.
